Puntuali come un orologio svizzero, dopo i ritorni di Idles e Fontaines D.C., ecco che anche gli Shame hanno annunciato il nuovo album.
Si intitola Drunk Tank Pink e sarà pubblicato il 15 gennaio su Dead Oceans. Prodotto da James Ford (già al lavoro per Arctic Monkeys e Haim), includerà Alphabet – uscita a settembre – e il nuovo singolo Water In The Well, pubblicato quest’oggi insieme ad un video diretto da Pedro Takahashi.
A quanto pare l’album sarà fortemente influenzato dalla pandemia e dai mesi di lockdown, almeno stando alle parole del leader Charlie Steen:
You become very aware of yourself and when all of the music stops, you’re left with the silence, and that silence is a lot of what this record is about.
