Ve l’avevamo anticipato due giorni fa, e finalmente il momento è arrivato.
I Foals sono tornati in pista: il successore di Holy Fire si intitola What Went Down, e uscirà il 28 agosto su Warner. Quella che vedete qui sopra è la copertina dell’album, mentre qui sotto trovate la tracklist:

Registrato in Francia da James Ford (storico producer degli Arctic Monkeys), si tratterà di un album decisamente diverso del predecessore, che il leader Yannis Philippakis ha anticipato così:
“This new stuff’s going to decimate venues […] On Holy Fire I tried to consciously push the lyrics somewhere personal that was more like real life, whereas on this one I just wanted to strip the layers of myself away, have the reptilian part of my brain speak directly and not analyse or censor it.”
La title-track, What Went Down, farà il suo debutto il 16 giugno al BBC Radio 1 Show di Annie Mac, e mentre la aspettiamo ascoltiamoci (A CASO) Cassius, dal primo album:
