A 4 anni da Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action e a 2 dal disco con gli Sparks, i Franz Ferdinand hanno annunciato un nuovo album.
Always Ascending è stato registrato insieme al produttore Philippe Zdar (Cassius, Phoenix, Beastie Boys) e verrà pubblicato il prossimo 9 febbraio via Domino Records.

A inizio 2017, ad Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy e Paul Thomson si sono aggiunti Julian Corrie (tastiere, chitarra) e Dino Bardot (chitarra).
In concomitanza con all’annuncio del nuovo disco, è stata rilasciata la title track che trovate di seguito insieme alla tracklist di Always Ascending e alle date del tour.
I Franz Ferdinand torneranno in Italia il prossimo 15 marzo 2018 all’Unipol Arena di Bologna.
