Il frontman dei Miike Snow ha detto la sua anche su Kendrick Lamar, con toni decisamente meno adulatori, affermando che la carriera del giovane rapper deve il suo successo unicamente per Jesus Walks, tanto per restare in tema Kanye:
“Even Kendrick Lamar’s career is basically taken from ‘Jesus Walks.’, which sounds like what Kendrick did on his last album. I love Kendrick, he’s awesome, a visionary, but Kanye was kind of there first.”
Ricordiamo che, per quanto siano affermazioni opinabili, Andrew Wyatt oltre a cantante è autore pop di successo, avendo contribuito alla scrittura di brani di Bruno Mars, Beck, Mark Ronson e Charlie XCX. E si unisce al coro anche il compagno di band Pontus Winnberg, soffermandosi sull’influenza di Yeezy anche dal punto di vista culturale e sul suo feeling con la moda.
Chissà se Andrew Wyatt ha anche la stessa passione per i porno di Kanye West, nel frattempo sarà impegnato con i suoi Miike Snow per il tour americano di supporto al nuovo album iii, portato di recente al Coachella.
