Siamo sempre in casa Sacred Bones Records e questa volta l’artista in questione è Amen Dunes, progetto di Damon McMahon, il quale ci presenta il video ufficiale di Splits Are Parted. “Il singolo è una canzone che parla di partire e guardarsi indietro sempre” commenta l’artista newyorchese; ed è estratto dal suo terzo full-lenght intitolato Love.
Il regista Jesse Hlebo, citando il filosofo francese Jean Luc Nancy, spiega a proposito del video:
