Sono trascorsi quasi 3 anni dalla pubblicazione di It’s Album Time, il primo eccellente LP del DJ e produttore norvegese Todd Terje.
Se non passa più di una settimana senza che ascoltiate a tutto volume Alfonso Muskedunder, Delorean Dynamite o Inspector Norse, sarete felici di sapere che la Olsen Records è pronta a regalarci una nuova opera del baffuto esponente della space disco.
After the show it’s the after party and before the album it’s the remix single?! That’s right folks, the Todd is back, bucking trends and shucking conventions to bring us two tip top reworks of an as yet unreleased original. Now you can’t trust any old knob-twiddler with an assignment this specialist, so it’s only right that Terje invites a pair of esteemed audio experts onto the ISS Olsen for operation ‘Jungelknugen’.
Al momento le informazioni relative al nuovo album sono davvero pochissime: sappiamo solo che sta arrivando e che il primo singolo estratto sarà Jungelknugen.
Diversamente da quanto accade di solito, però, non sentiremo il singolo prima che venga pubblicato l’intero album e, soprattutto, prima di sentire l’originale sentiremo i due remix ufficiali. Per placare momentaneamente la nostra fame, il 24 febbraio verrà distribuito un EP contenente i remix di Jungelknugen firmati da Four Tet e Prins Thomas.
