Eh sì, avete letto bene.
I Talking Heads mancano dalle scene da un bel po’ effettivamente: il loro ultimo album Naked risale al 1988, e lo scioglimento ufficiale è datato 1991. Non che David Byrne e soci non si siano dati da fare nel frattempo, ma la notizia di un – probabile – ritorno è parecchio eccezionale.
I rumor dicono che “Talking Heads are in the studio working on a new album and planning a tour for 2017”, più precisamente il sito mediamass.net afferma:
“There have been strong rumors that the rock band is finally returning to the recording studio working on a what might be a back-to-roots album. ‘It’s still in the early stages, they got security on the doors to ensure no-one hears a whisper,’ a source said. Talking Heads are rumoured to be planning a worldwide tour at the end of 2017.”
