Alex Crossan, in arte Mura Masa, ha pubblicato un nuovo singolo assieme a Ellie Rowsell (Wolf Alice) estratto dal suo nuovo LP R.Y.C. in uscita il 17 Gennaio tramite Geffer Records.
Il pezzo si chiama Teenage Headache Dreams e si aggiunge a I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again in featuring con Clairo, No Hope Generation e Deal Wiv It con slowthai, tutti facenti parte del prossimo progetto del nativo di Guernsey.
Le sonorità del nuovo pezzo ricordano molto il dreamy pop ed a detta dello stesso Mura Masa racchiudono l’intento del disco:
It’s possible to feel happy even if it means relying on something that isn’t necessarily true, or is half-imagined, or might not even have happened at all. If we can find a shared remembrance of a good time, we’re more likely to be able to find that again. A little bit of escapism is healthy.
