In uscita prevista per il 23 marzo, il secondo album di Kendrick Lamar ora ha un artwork che ritrae un giudice messo a terra da un gruppo di nigga sul giardino della casa bianca. È lo stesso Lamar a rivelare la probabile copertina via Instagram, accompagnandola con un commento che annuncia tra le righe anche il titolo del disco:
“Don’t all dogs go to heaven? Don’t Gangsta’s boogie? Do owl shit stank? Lions, Tigers & Bears. But TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY. Its the American dream nigga….” – lil Homie.
Kendrick sa bene quanto il suo prossimo lavoro sia atteso e tra i dettagli che stiamo ricevendo sull’album, che dunque si intitolerà To Pimp A Butterfly e che farà da seguito a good kid, mAAD city (2012), spunta fuori anche una probabile tracklist. A condividerla via Twitter è l’account ufficiale di Rosecrans Avenue, fonte attendibile insomma, che riporta la lista di queste tracce:
