Che meraviglia i primi anni Duemila. Prima di Dave Eggers, dei film di Wes Anderson, di IKEA, di Zooey Deschanel. Un tempo in cui una t-shirt dei Decemberists ti poteva rendere il più fico di tutti, in cui i Razorlight avevano il loro perché e in cui i nomi di tutte le band iniziavano con un rassicurante “The”.
Ieri, star vecchie e nuove si sono riunite su Twitter per ricordare (e in alcuni casi rimpiangere) con i fan i bei momenti andati con l’hashtag #indieamnesty. Ce n’è per tutti: dalle rivelazioni di Alex Kapranos dei Franz Ferdinand a chi confessa (candidamente) di aver preferito ascoltare gli Hot Hot Heat piuttosto che gli Arcade Fire, dai tantissimi aneddoti su Pete Doherty a chi ha tenuto come sveglia Chelsea Dagger dei Fratellis durante quasi tutti gli anni di università.
Leggetene tutti, è un’esperienza catartica. E non vergognatevi del passato: vi è concesso pensare che i Bloc Party abbiano fatto dei bei dischi, perchè è stato davvero così.
