Per l’Italia non ci passano più manco di striscio, ma gli studi di registrazione sembra che li frequentino spesso ultimamente.
È quanto dice Ezra Koenig riguardo i suoi Vampire Weekend. In un podcast registrato per No Effects di Jesse Cohen, il buon Ezra ha dichiarato che la band di New York è pronta a dar luce al seguito di Modern Vampires Of The City, album uscito nel 2013.
Il frontman ha aggiunto che nel nuovo album potrebbero anche essere inserite alcune canzoni che erano state registrate ai tempi delle registrazioni di Modern Vampires Of The City e scartate ma non perché facessero cagare, bensì perché:
“There are songs that are left over, not to diminish them, but songs that just weren’t quite right for the last album that I’m very excited about for the next album, so you know there’s little demos that I kind of listen to everyday”
Non ci resta che aspettare, e chissà che presto non tornino qui dalle nostre parti.
