Il nuovo album di Frankie Cosmos, Close It Quietly, è pronto. Arriverà a settembre ancora su Sub Pop, dopo Vessel del 2017.
Un album introspettivo e meno luminoso dei precedenti che è stato registrato a Brooklyn negli studi di Figure 8, già asilo per le registrazioni di Sufjan Stevens, Nick Murphy e Snail Mail.
Ad anticiparlo c’è il primo estratto Windows, brano che sta a metà tra la guarigione ed il perdono. Queste le parole della leader della band:
The inner versus the outer- learning to see yourself as part of the whole. For me the lyrics cover some of the slow movements of relationships, the shifts that occur in ways of thinking over time.
