Pokémon Go sta diventando un’ossessione: non illudetevi se scorgete un gruppetto di ragazzi sotto casa alla fermata dell’autobus, in realtà si sono radunati al solo scopo di catturare un Oddish.
La mania si è diffusa a livello globale in così poco tempo da raggiungere persino El-P, membro dei Run The Jewels, che ha lanciato una gara di remix a tema Pokémon, dopo averne preso in giro i fanatici sul proprio account Twitter:
“Real shit someone is going to get accidentally maimed or killed off this pokemon shit… then again i dont actually care. but i will laugh the second one of you gets hit by a car. or softly chuckle to myself. sadly. soft but sad”.
Data la reazione negativa dei fans al post, El-P ha subito rimediato sostenendo che il suo account fosse stato hackerato, promettendo poi:
“haha so many hurt feelings over pokemon disparagement… ok heres the deal: if in 1 year someone doesnt get seriously hurt playing that shit ill personally attempt to become a pokemaster”.
Si è lasciato prendere la mano, pubblicando un rap sui Pokémon su Instagram e lanciando un’ufficiale sfida al rapper che sappia far meglio di lui componendo sull’argomento: in palio per il vincitore, una maglietta ed una felpa.
Twitter è già impazzito, pieno di remix.
