Parlophone Records ha annunciato la pubblicazione di un nuovo box sex che ripercorrerà buona parte degli anni ’80 di David Bowie.
Loving The Alien (1983-1988) verrà rilasciato il prossimo 21 ottobre, si potrà optare fra la versione da 15 LP o da quella 11 CD.
Il set conterrà sia brani in studio che dal vivo, ma anche la produzione esclusiva di Never Let Me Down realizzata da Mario McNulty, storico produttore e ingegnere del suono del Duca Bianco. Alla nuova versione dell’album hanno collaborato anche Reeves Gabrels, David Torn, Sterling Campbell e Tim Lefebvre.
Il cofanetto comprenderà anche l’inedito Serious Moonlight registrato a Montreal nel 1983, mentre Glass Spider (Live Montreal ’87) sarà per la prima volta in vinile.
Altra esclusiva del box set sarà Re:Call, una raccolta di outtakes, rarities, B-sides, demo e brani delle colonne sonore di Labyrinth, Absolute Beginners e When the Wind Blows.
Tutti i dischi del cofanetto conterranno un accompanying book con foto inedite di Bowie, rassegne stampa storiche e note tecniche sugli album dei produttori/ingegneri Nile Rodgers, Hugh Padgham, Mario McNulty e Justin Shirley-Smith.
