Come se non bastasse, alla festa di questo 2017 scoppiettante e incredibile potrebbe aggiungersi anche il ritorno di Florence + The Machine.
L’inglesissima rossa infatti è stata appena annunciata come headliner del tedesco Melt Festival insieme agli amici xx.
Il festival avrà luogo a Ferropolis dal 13 al 15 luglio, ma a questo punto è lecito chiedersi quando Florence farà il suo ritorno discografico. How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful risale al 2015 e non vediamo davvero l’ora di un sequel.
A proposito del nuovo album la Welch aveva dichiarato all’inizio del nuovo anno che il nuovo album avrebbe raccontato lo stato di depressione e alcol nel quale era caduta a seguito della rottura con il suo ex James Nesbitt:
I’m happier now, I’m content, but I’m never going to be fixed, ever, I don’t think that’s how it works. A lot of things almost worked for me: partying almost worked, being famous and successful almost worked, the relationship almost worked… but it won’t sustain you. These are transient things. It’s working out how to be OK regardless.
