In una recente intervista alla stazione radiofonica KROQ di Los Angeles, Beck ha rivelato che ha appena finito di lavorare al nuovo album e che uscirà molto presto.
Il suo decimo disco sarebbe dovuto uscire nel 2015 ma è stato posticipato a novembre di quest’anno a causa di diversi impegni, per poi subìre evidentemente un ulteriore rinvio. Il 2017 dovrebbe essere quindi l’anno buono e, secondo quanto ha dichiarato, dobbiamo aspettarci un disco piuttosto variegato:
This record has felt like a lot of freedom, as I’ve had time to work things out and try things. I’ll go too far in one direction, then go too far in another. There were a few other ideas that have come out of making this record that are interesting and have pushed me in other directions.
