Starboy, il nuovo attesissimo album di The Weeknd, uscirà il 25 Novembre e in attesa della pubblicazione scopriamo sempre più notizie a riguardo.
In una recente intervista con il Wall Street Journal, il ventiseienne cantante canadese ha rivelato che il titolo del disco è in parte ispirato a Starman di David Bowie, alla sua morte e a quella di Prince, con il quale avrebbe dovuto collaborare poco prima della morte dello stesso ad aprile.
Nel corso dell’intervista ha parlato anche dell’esperienza in studio con i Daft Punk:
Their studio is like a spaceship, there’s a lot of gear… But the way they make music, the way they explain it, is very cinematic. It’s like they’re reading a page out of a novel — ‘We want to make sure that at the end, it feels like the sun’s coming up, and maybe there’s a car chase.’ They can get technical, but it was interesting how they visualize making music.
