Sono passati più di tre anni dall’uscita dell’album di debutto della giovanissima Lorde. Oggi la cantante neozelandese compie 20 anni e per l’occasione si è lasciata andare con un lungo post sul proprio account Facebook, soffermandosi sul suo ultimo anno a New York, sul secondo album e facendo qualche considerazione su Pure Heroine – descrivendolo come un modo per custodire gli anni dell’adolescenza.
Il nuovo materiale è invece proiettato al futuro e la cantante ce lo presenta così verso la fine del lunghissimo post che potete leggere qui:
I want nothing more than to spill my guts RIGHT NOW about the whole thing – I want you to see the album cover, pore over the lyrics (the best I’ve written in my life), touch the merch, experience the live show. I can hardly stop myself from typing out the name. I just need to keep working a while longer to make it as good as it can be. You’ll have to hold on. The big day is not tomorrow, or even next month realistically, but soon. I know you understand.
Noi intanto speriamo che quel “soon” sia davvero molto presto:
