Negli scorsi giorni, ignoti hanno vandalizzato la tomba di Ian Curtis al cimitero di Macclesfield.
Come riporta Joy Division Central su Twitter non è la prima volta che succede. Già nel 2008 la sua tomba era stata gravemente vilipesa da qualche istrionico scemo con problemi di autostima, tanto che era stata praticamente cementata a terra.
Ecco la lapide del furto.
Oggi, invece, rimangono uno spazio vuoto e qualche fiore.
The top stone on Ian Curtis's memorial has been removed, without the cemetery’s knowledge.
Ian’s inscribed memorial stone was stolen in 2008 and a replacement securely cemented in place. It appears attempts were made to remove this as well.
