Finalmente un nuovo album degli xx è confermato! Dopo le dichiarazioni di Jamie XX sul futuro della band londinese, ora tutto è un po’ più chiaro e definito: il nuovo disco dovrebbe uscire nell’estate del 2015.
La band ha registrato diverse parti del terzo album in uscita in differenti città: in primavera le registrazioni hanno avuto luogo in Texas, in estate nella freddissima Reykjavik. Al momento la band dovrebbe trovarsi a casa AKA Londra. Tuttavia, questa settimana Jamie e compagni voleranno verso gli USA, più precisamente a Los Angeles.
I luoghi non sono stati scelti fortuitamente dal trio inglese, infatti:
” Although all very different, each of these places have been inspirational environments to create music in, and each will have an influence on the new album. The whole process is a big adventure and we can’t wait for a time when we’ll be able to share the music with you. “
