C’è una notizia bellissima, ed una un po’ meno felice: quella bellissima, è che i Future Islands hanno tirato fuori qualche ora fa un nuovo brano, The Chase, registrato negli Abbey Road Studios e messo su vinile per l’occasione.
Quella un po’ meno bella, è che al momento una sola copia del suddetto disco è in vendita, per altro nello UK (presso il Seismic Records, nel cuore dello Warwickshire). Solo un miracolato potrà, almeno per ora, godere di questo regalo.
La band, però, ha generosamente deciso di trasmettere il pezzo anche ad altri esseri umani, in onda durante il Mary Anne Hobbs’ BBC Radio 6 show. Potete ascoltarlo qui, scorrendo fino a 2:19:00. Il buon Samuel T. Herring scambia anche qualche parola di presentazione:
