Un annuncio che si aspettava da tempo quello del nuovo album dei Friendly Fires. A parte un paio di fugaci apparizioni, infatti, erano ormai otto anni che la band di inglese non proponeva qualcosa di concreto.
Ora ci siamo e dopo Love Like Waves e Heaven Let Me In, prende corpo il nuovo album Inflorescent, che uscirà ufficialmente il 16 agosto su Polydor e non più su XL Recordings.
Queste le parole del boss di Polydor, Tom March, che già 12 mesi fa salutava il loro approdo nell’etichetta.
They’re a brilliant band, great people, and it’s a dream for all of us at Polydor to be working with them. I’ve been thrusting my hips and shaking my maracas around the office since signing the deal! The band have a lot of unfinished business to take care of and we’re really excited to be on board to help them take things to the next level.
