Charlie Brooker, mente e penna dietro Black Mirror, si è lasciato andare a nuovi commenti riguardo l’attesissima quarta stagione, che verrà pubblicata su Netflix verso la fine dell’anno.
Nel corso di un’intervista a Radio Times, Brooker ha affermato che i temi distopici trattati nel corso della nuova stagione sono ben lontani dal poter accadere nel futuro più prossimo, talmente improbabili che una loro eventuale realizzazione sarebbe una tragedia.
For this coming season they’re quite far out there so I don’t envisage that being a problem. Although if that does happen the world is really fucked… well, the world is really fucked, so we’ll see.
Uno di questi episodi purtroppo è quasi diventato realtà, stando alle parole di Brooker:
Weirdly there was one news story I read the other day that I thought ‘Oh, how does that reflect on an episode we’ve already finished shooting?‘. There was some new discovery made. Hopefully not, but then when writing them I never think any of these are going to come true, and then it seems like some of them do.
