Alla fine è successo, ecco qui On Hold, primo brano estratto dal terzo album degli xx.
Il brano – che contiene un sample di I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do) degli Hall And Oates – era curiosamente contenuto nella scaletta di I See You, il nuovo disco del trio britannico, i cui dettagli erano stati leakati su Shazam.
L’uscita di questo terzo capitolo della saga xx è stata confermata anche dalla band con un post via Facebook, che ha annunciato la pubblicazione dell’album per il 13 gennaio su Young Turks:
After many years, close together, far apart, great highs, deep lows, heartache and healing, we are so happy to let you know we are releasing our 3rd album ‘I See You’ on January 13th 2017.
We realise these are uncertain times and we hope the joy and love we found making the record will find its way out into the world, in however small a way.
